June 25, 2014. The Coast Track is an easy 26km track in suburban Sydney, Australia. I had a few days to spend in Sydney after I finished Larapinta Trail. Early So I did this hike overnight Jun. 23rd to 24th, 2014. Drinking water is available at both trailheads. July 25, 2014. I hiked the NianBaoYuZe(年保玉则) traverse south to north in 2 days from Jul. 20th to Jul. 21st in 2014. Apart from the fact that average altitude is 4200m, it is overall a moderate hike with great alpine scenery. This gps file is obtained from foooooot.com. There’s another pass between Xia Rigan Cuo(下日干措 Lower Rigan Lake) and Yaonü Hu(妖女湖 Yaonü Lake) with an altitude of 4550 meters. But it’s not as steep and doable from both directions. June 25, 2014. The 65 km Overland Track in Tasmania is arguably the most famous trail in Australia. And rightfully so. It’s one of the most spectacular hikes in the world. I did the hike from May 30th to Jun. 5th in 2014. Unfortunately, the track is also one of the most expensive in the world. As of 2014, the permit costs $200 (only West Coast Trail’s $150 can compare to that). Adding transportation and airfare to Tassie, this trip cost me more than $500. Was it worth it?
