Monday, June 16, 2014. This weekend past, a bunch of guys from our church (Dad and brothers included) went on a canoe trip. Us gals at home decided that this was a perfect time to have a. GIRL PARTAY! So Megs, Becka and our good friends the Theissens came over to help us have the best time. And ohhhh my, a "best time" we did have! Everyone arrived mid to late afternoon. Wednesday, April 30, 2014. Well, here it is, the last day of April. Successfully I completed the "blog a day" challenge, and checked off my first item on this year's resolution list. Hold on. It's coming. This adventure was incredibly fun, though at times really challenging. There were times that evening would roll around and I would begin to panic because I had not even given thought to my blog post yet! Wednesday, August 20, 2014. These past couple of days I have found myself struggling in a deep place. God has been teaching me how to let go, trying to get me to a place of complete surrender. But I still find myself on the fence. I was reading the bible yesterday in search of answers and I came across Hebrews chapter eleven where the writer is talking about faith and begins to list a number of people in history past that had complete faith in God even though they didn't know where it would take them.
