This particular trip is a hard one to summarise, as it is full of surprises and emotions. One thing for sure is how blessed we really were to take out a team that the Lord melted together in such a way that it would seem hard to replicate! If only we could be more open and do that more in our 'churches'. India and all it's cultural differences has its beauty on one hand and its harsh difficult way of life for the most, is a cruel reminder of the land that is soaked in corruption and idol worship! A day of colour and celebration. This morning brought new joy as the ladies had their turn of ministering to 200 women, to say the sight was colourful was a huge understatement! The hall was decked with streamers hanging from the rafters and the women of course dressed in amazing saris. This afternoon I had the pleasure to Baptise 8 people in a rural church but cannot show any pictures for security reasons. An awesome experience that was truly a beautiful moment of celebration and praise. Some knitted 'toys' and sweets were given to the children does anyone recognise the 'teddie' you made? Driven' to find out more. What an awesome end to part one! As you know our driver had been attending some (in part) of our meetings. He has been very helpful albeit burly in character and have enjoyed teasing him most days. This is the first time a driver has ever been interested in what we do and observed our activities. Have arrived safely into India and reached our 1st destination at Salem. Pastors David and Immanuel met us at Bangalore airport and were pleased to see us and greeted us with the traditional flower garlands. A welcome fragrance after being cooped up on the plane for so many hours. Anyways Praise the Lord all our luggage and our selves got here complete, and with limited coughing inflicted to my neighbouring passengers! First meeting with IVCM pastors tonight! IVCM: Yercaud for Yaweh

Yesterday we left Salem and went up 5000 ft to the Yercaud hills for the night in order to reach the tribal villages. We had a short rest and did some sightseeing around the hills surrounded by coffee and tea plantations . Roger told a great parable using a 12 yr old boy as part of the illustration and moved his hands and arms like a puppet! It was a great boost to the team from the last experience.
