Mountain Biking Zanes' Blog. Stories of Zane riding his Mountain Bike in New Zealand. Canada – Chilcoatins – Taylor Creek, Camel Pass, Ridge then Cinnabar Trail. After 4 days of stonking trails in Pemberton we hightailed it over to Taughton Lake in the Chilcotin area to camp. They have a little campground just beyond the big flash lodge and spa there… which is also conveniently located for getting onto a float plane. A hut we found well up Taylor Creek. Turned out we were asleep on the wrong wharf… but a quick rearrange had us sorted. Boys, bikes and a Beaver. Charlie, Zane, Mark and Dugall – Highway to Hell? A quick circle above Lake Lorna (1930m) gave us a good look around before a buttery smooth landing. Float planes are great! Abandoned in singletrack heaven. Pushing towards Lorna Pass.
