Thoughts from a small town girl. Tuesday, August 26, 2008. The river was nice. So, we went on a little weekend vacation to the Spring River. Some friends of ours have a house there, a very nice house! It's only Tuesday and I am already worn out, O-U-T! I am looking forward to Thursday, even though I have a class at 8:00 in the morning. I am teaching these classes not taking them so there is a little less pressure off of my shoulders but, still. The time between classes has been spent in the lab and will ...

Thoughts from a small town girl...: September 2008
http://okietreehugger.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Thoughts from a small town girl. Wednesday, September 24, 2008. On a teaching note, I have given 5 of the 7 exams I have to administer this week. My poor students have been freaking out. Several have told me that the test was too hard. Sorry, can't change the information the test is over. To those who studied hard and did well, congrats! Fun Fact of the Day. According to experts, 30 percent of all marriages occur because of friendship. Just a simple girl from Oklahoma. Monday, September 22, 2008. I am lo...

An Okie herpetologist trying to survive!!!: Geckos
http://okieherper.blogspot.com/2008/08/geckos.html
An Okie herpetologist trying to survive! Friday, August 15, 2008. Yesterday I managed to make a few more slides. I'm getting so close to wrapping up another chapter of my research (except for the writing). I can almost see a faint light at the end of the tunnel. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). An Okie herpetologist trying to survive!!!: March 2009
http://okieherper.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
An Okie herpetologist trying to survive! Sunday, March 29, 2009. Wow, haven't posted since November. Well we still haven't gotten into the new house yet. That makes it pretty tough. Also, Bartlesville isn't as big as I remember. While I hated many aspects of the city, I really miss the conveniences. Especially all the different food options. The fact that all my friends are now 7 hours away makes things get pretty boring at times. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Lauren Sawyer and Family.

An Okie herpetologist trying to survive!!!: First baby
http://okieherper.blogspot.com/2008/08/first-baby.html
An Okie herpetologist trying to survive! Monday, August 18, 2008. Got up this morning and decided to check on the hatching Corn Snake eggs. Well 1 baby is completely out and going strong. It is really small so I hope it makes it. There is 1 other one with its head poking out, but hasn't got brave enough to leave its gooey home and face the unknown. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). An Okie herpetologist trying to survive!!!: Weekend is here
http://okieherper.blogspot.com/2008/08/weekend-is-here.html
An Okie herpetologist trying to survive! Friday, August 22, 2008. Yesterday I started looking through all the slides I have been making. For those, I just need a regular light microscope. So far I have been finding what I had hoped to so that part of my project should work out pretty well. Well yesterday I got roped into teaching, AGAIN! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
