So I went out today and did a full inspection. It was sunny and 80 degrees! Here is a picture of the hives:. As I've stated earlier, I was encouraged that all three hives were active, and that they were all bringing in pollen and nectar. Well, with my first inspection, I was to be quite disappointed. I mentioned the other day that P had built two beehives for me, so I thought I’d show them and share some of the process with you. Another bonus is that there is no heavy lifting with this system, something I definitely find appealing. With conventional systems there is alot of lifting and while those little boxes may not look it, they are really HEAVY! Easy to build and maintain.

Today we’re having one of those slow steady rains, the kind that lasts all day, the kind you sometimes get after an extended hot dry spell, you can almost hear the land sighing with relief. Sunday, November 21, 2010. Dropping of the fuel tank. I was able to spend some time yesterday working on the car. I am still unable to get the brake drum loose, so I put some PB Blaster on it, and tapped the screws with a hammer and screwdriver to try to work the lubricant into the threads. So since I was stymied there, I went back to work on the gas tank. This is what I found under that circular plate in the trunk. I'm assuming it's the fuel sen. The tank is out! Now, how to clean it.

Tuesday, November 24, 2009. Not much of an update. And isn't sure when he'll be able to do it. I finished up the airbox, and have it stored in a plastic bin. I've now decided to start with some small things, until the garage at least has a floor in it, and I have more time! Site, a gentleman started his rstoration by removing the tail lights and working on them. I think that's a great idea! Small steps, right? What do y'all think of this idea?
