News from Mountain and Maps. News, views and life in France. Discovering a new snowshoe area - Les Angles. Posted on 17 March 2015. The first day was in light snow and, although the temperature did get to minus 3C, it was fantastic route to a highest point at 1992m and through wonderful woodlands. There are a lot of wonderful snowshoe trails here and we hope to run more trips from Les Angles next year. Meanwhile this year we’re running a new short break: April - 11 - 15. Cycle from mountains to sea,. Follow Tour de France routes. We run either Challenging. Grades. Challenging is for regular road cyclists eager for some steep climbs and descents and wanting to cycle up to, or more, than 100 kms per day. The Comfortable grade is for those either new to cycling or just wanting a more relaxed day (50 - 70kms per day) with more time to see sights, café stops and routes that are low-level hills and valleys.
