A Mountain State of Mind

Blog posts will be coming. They will most likely be more pictures than words and will be in no particular order. First one: Thanksgiving 2011. This is the first time we have hosted a Thanksgiving and it was super. The day started with me doing the local Turkey Trot and running my first under 30 minute 5k since high school. It was super fun though I did skip the table mid-run offering mimosas. The other major bonus was heading down toward "Little Italy". Cory and Edmund shared this giant bowl of ice c...

A Mountain State of Mind: November 2010

http://mountainstateofmind.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html

A Post On Old Things. I have all these pictures looming on my computer that I have been planning to post and just have not been able to yet. While this still may not be the best use of my current time I am going to do it anyways. Once I get these pictures and stories up then you get to hear about better and more recent stories. Puppies can fly too. Not my gumdrop buttons! Yep, thats Fiona and the Gingerbread man.I guess they dress up every year for the kids. We are at the beach! We are in sunny Florida!

Breakfast with my Baby. I love all three of these pictures because they are the same exact face and these pictures were taken at various times throughout breakfast. I love this face. This morning Edmund had blueberry yogurt waffles and a little bit of yogurt on the side while I enjoyed a wonderful glass of milk and some gooey rolls. Contrary to what this picture may make you think, he really did enjoy it. I mean, check out that blueberry goatee. And he's a magician. Every year, *if we are good, the elves...

A Mountain State of Mind: May 2011

My treat to myself. Red velvet cupcake you are delicious. Love of Hats and a Boy and His Horse. One small hope Cory and I have for Edmund is that he enjoys wearing hats. One reason being that it protects his head and two just because we are hat people. I think he has started to grow a love for them. Generally one of the first things he grabs in the morning is this hat. Trying his hand at dinosaur surfing. Not only does he love his hat, but he also loves to wear it on his trusty companion, Charley horse.

I went away again. But I'm back now.until school starts at least. There is a lot to catch you up on! A lot of pictures to share too, but I'll start with these goodies I found as I finally uploaded pictures from our summer sabatical on the sun. July 4 also spans at least five days in Kansas which is why you see two different outfits and locations. We got to spend one of the shooting days with friends and the other with family. A good mix. The Warren DnA: The Knead & Feed

http://amymwarren.blogspot.com/2012/11/the-knead-feed.html

Saturday, November 10, 2012. The Knead and Feed. Daniel, Ben and I spent a lovely morning in Coupeville at a local eatery, The Knead and Feed. It was delicious. I'm happy to say we've found our 2nd establishment for the list of places we'll take out-of-town guests. Russell Warren, my brother-in-law, would love this place. Here's to hoping you also get to eat buttermilk pancakes soon! November 10, 2012 at 2:35 PM. Sounds like a lovely meal with your two leading men. :). November 11, 2012 at 6:14 PM. My ne...

The Warren DnA: November 2010

http://amymwarren.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html

Monday, November 22, 2010. A little taste of Kansas in the northwest! Today we have snow! Real snow.probably the most we'll have all winter. Instead of driving on the roads with inexperienced winter weather drivers, I'm choosing to work from home today which has its perks. It means the dogs can go outside regularly and I can stay in my awesome flannel pajamas until 4pm (which I fully intend to do.). But Roger's just a young doggie dude. I thought I'd document his first day out in the snow. Daniel's solut...

The Warren DnA: March 2011

http://amymwarren.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html

Saturday, March 5, 2011. Thank God for Moms. The last couple days were a little more awful than I expected b/c on top of recovering from surgery I got the flu. Not good! I couldn't eat anything without being nauseous 30 minutes after and had to sleep most of the day. This morning my mom washed my hair for me b/c it was gross after 4 days of no shower. Daniel has a weird work schedule this weekend so he's not able to be around to help all the time. So long story short, my mother rocks. Talk about bad timi...

Wednesday, January 16, 2013. Even cute babies take bad pictures. Let me start by saying that I love our baby, Ben. He's the best. See previous posts for reasons why. Is it because there faces are typically covered with either food or boogers? Have a good day! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The life of J: December 2010

http://jlwilson.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html

I have a confession. I am not perfect. This (humbling) fact has been made perhaps even more clear after 11 months of living with my significant other (read domestic partner, or DP). I've lived with a fair share of roommates - and I even lived with my parents post-college graduation - and still I was able to keep my issues to myself, my emotions hidden (for the most part) and my skeletons safely in my closet. Nothing compares to or prepares you for dating your roommate. Facebook stalking can keep me occup...

Say Hello: The Senior Prom

http://thebscsays.blogspot.com/2010/06/senior-prom.html

One time, we went to Prom. We all had dates, but the poor boys didn't realize they were just there to buy us dinner and drive us around. What really mattered is that we got to go to Prom together. Even though it was jungle themed and in the Fireworks Warehouse. Brought to you by Rachel. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Introducing our family's newest grad. After 8 humbling (read embarrassing) weeks of storming through the front door at PetSmart with a wild, out-of-control, limbs-flying, tongue panting, stare-warranting Marley look-alike.Brooklyn has officially graduated from puppy class. It was a long and rough ride, but she did it, and we are very proud puppy parents. Here is a pic of the 5 month old and the 11 year old. Brooklyn brought out Daisy's youthful side.
