Team Tennant: November 2013
http://thetennantfamily.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 3, 2013. One of the previous posts included "firsts" that our boys have experienced since we've been in Charleston. Topping that list for Luke is now trick-or-treating! But the joy that came from that experience deserved its own post. We started the day visiting Daddy at work! After the parade we went trick-or-treating in our friends' neighborhood, and it only took visiting one house for Luke to figure out how to say "twick-or-tweet? Here the boys are on their way to Daddy's work. Keepin...

Saturday, March 8, 2014. And then there were. 5! We came to Charleston for Paul's one-year fellowship with no knowledge of where we would settle after the year was over and that we would be leaving Charleston with me being 8 months pregnant! Even though we were as surprised as we could be about this pregnancy, we have only been excited. We give glory to the Creator of all things who has, in His infinite wisdom, decided to bless us with another child. Here's a view of the baby's profile:. Subscribe to: P...

Team Tennant: Welcome, Baby Samuel!
http://thetennantfamily.blogspot.com/2014/08/welcome-baby-samuel.html
Friday, August 29, 2014. Welcome, Baby Samuel! On July 16, 2014, we welcomed the newest family member:. We want our Samuel to use his life to glorify God just like his namesake did, as we are fully convinced this is his path to true fulfillment in life. His middle name is Christopher because it's the same middle name as my brother, Adam. We have so much respect for Adam, and we hope that Samuel will grow to be as sweet and selfless and servant-hearted as his Uncle Adam is. Heading to the hospital! That's...

Monday, August 19, 2013. Water entertains Luke more than anything else in the world. Fortunately for him, there is basically a bridge per resident in this city, and every single time we drive over a bridge, Luke begins to ask, "Waar? As in, "Please, let's go play in the water? So it only seemed fitting to celebrate Luke's birthday at the beach! My friend, Julie Kaylor, is a talented photographer and just sent me these pictures from the celebration! T his little boy is a blessing from the Lord! This time ...

Tuesday, December 18, 2012. Introducing Caleb Roy Tennant! Our newest addition, Caleb Roy, entered the world on November 29, 2012! 7 #, 14 oz. 20 1/2 inches long. After having intermittent painful contractions for over a week leading up to Caleb's birthday, Caleb came at 39 weeks, 1 day. 2:30 am: Contractions were 7 minutes apart. 4:30 am: Contractions were 2-3 minutes apart, which was when we knew that this was no false alarm; it was (way past) time to head to the hospital! Paul and I got a kick out of ...

Wednesday, December 18, 2013. What Christmas Songs Mean to Me. There have only been two posts on this blog that have resulted from a sense of compulsion to sit down an write out my thoughts. One was this. Post about Diane Schreiner when she had her bike accident. The other post, for whatever reason, is this one. I love the fact that Jesus saved me without knowing much about Him. I love that He called me with such ignorance of his majesty, purity, and holiness, knowing that He would build on that know...

Monday, October 21, 2013. Charleston = Fun (Beaches). Out of all that Charleston has to offer, nothing is more fun for our boys than the beach. I'm so thankful for talented friends who gladly capture their happiness by photographing them! It's okay to laugh. We laugh, too. He's pleasantly plump. And we're proud of it! Luke snatched a friend's beach hat and ran out into the tidal pool. Thankfully, she was amused! Here are two of Luke's favorite people ever. This sweet family has become so dear to us!
