Tuesday, August 4, 2015. Thursday night saw me sending a text to my brother, wondering is he was planning on coming up from Seattle over the weekend to hike or not. The answer was. sort of. Rather than driving all the way up to Mount Baker, the plan was to hike Cascade Pass and Sahale Arm and I was welcome to join if I could meet him in Sedro Woolly. I obviously jumped on the opportunity. Suddenly, after a couple (buggy) miles of blessedly shaded hiking, we reached the treeline and were no longer craning...
