They found a crevasse that they could access easily today to practice crevasse rescue techniques and do a bit of rappelling. Saturday, May 29, 2010. The team is in Kathmandu. Sorry for the delay in posting. I have been out of town and I just received word that the team is in Kathmandu. Bill and Scott have tried to post, but the infamous Nepali internet service is apparently at an all-time low for reliability. Thursday, July 1, 2010. Camp 3, 14,200 ft! Sorry this wasn't updated yesterday, technical difficulties on my end. Here's what you've missed. Durny and Michael B. climbed back up to Camp 2 late Monday night/Tuesday morning. Alex flew out civilization and is back home by now. (Alex if you are reading, do you have an extra set of tent poles in your gear? Email us if you find them) After a few hours of rest, the guides got up and led their crew on up to Camp 3 at 14,000 ft on Tuesday. July 2, 2010 at 1:03 AM.

Wednesday, May 5, 2010. Acclimatizing at 17,200 ft. Zach checked in last night to report pretty windy and cold conditions on Tues. The team spent the day in camp resting and refuelling for the pending summit day. Everyone is doing very well. May 5, 2010 at 4:41 PM. You guys are amazing! Sunday, May 9, 2010. Tough conditions up high! The plan is for them to continue on to Basecamp where I expect to hear from them today. We are really proud of this hearty crew. They have experienced something very few people could even imagine. An early season trip on the West Buttress is really special. Thanks to everyone for following the crew throughout this climb.
