Pyr-o-mania: Earth Day Giveaway! (rhyming is fun)
http://pyrsf.blogspot.com/2015/04/earth-day-giveaway-rhyming-is-fun.html
Posted by Lisa Kay. Seems like the perfect day to giveaway ALL THREE. Books in Janet Edwards' Earth Girl series, right? Jarra is an ape, an outcast, stuck on a ruined Earth due to a rare defect that makes her unable to survive on other planets. She's already proven that she's just as tough as the norms, but her actions have repercussions that spread further than she ever could have imagined, and political unrest threatens to tear apart the delicate balance of peace between humanity's worlds. Have you been HEXED yet? Posted by Lisa Kay. Whether you're into comics or YA novels, (or neither, for that matter) you're going to want to check this one out. For the first time, Michael Alan Nelson's comic book character Lucifer exists in the prose novel world. And what a terrifying world that is. Lucifer hunts and nabs demons, travels through mirrors, and battles some very angry witches. All of which makes for some exciting reading! An action-packed page-turner.”. 8212; Kirkus Reviews. Inside the mind of Imago Bone. Posted by Lisa Kay. Ever wanted to get into the mind of a character? Well, even deeper. Than literally reading his or her thoughts and actions throughout a book? Take a glimpse inside the failing mind of Imago Bone in Chris Willrich's newest book The Chart of Tomorrows. This handy list was written by Bone to help him remember the people he's met, the places he's seen, and the creatures that tried to kill him. Sounds like a helpful list, if you ask me. AND HIS MEMORY IS TAXED.

Pirate Daycare: Anyone have a few bucks they could loan me?
http://piratedaycare.blogspot.com/2007/10/anyone-have-few-bucks-they-could-loan.html
Anyone have a few bucks they could loan me? Posted by Jer at 9:45 AM. On Tuesday, October 02, 2007. How could anyone pass up an offer like THIS. I mean, look at that map! Two underground rooms that could make for great gaming rooms. Three silos that could hold, I don't know, corn or something. Tunnels all over the place - it's like a wonderland of Cold War era nightmares all wrapped up for one low price. I mean really, how can they let this get away from them for only $1.5 million? Thoughts on Booster Gold and Geoff Johns. Posted by Jer at 9:22 AM. On Monday, August 11, 2008. So slugboy lent me the first new Booster Gold collection 52 Pickup. Over the weekend. I finished it up and have a few thoughts - with spoilers for those who haven't read it yet:. And then Johns has Rip Hunter torture one of his enemies for information. There we go - that's the Geoff Johns I was expecting. Let's inject some pointless angst into this nice action-adventure comic, shall we? Well that was a long hi...

Pirate Daycare: Updates
http://piratedaycare.blogspot.com/2008/01/updates.html
Posted by Jer at 5:44 AM. On Thursday, January 31, 2008. I've placed a few new links in the sidebar - mostly gaming related. I've been posting mostly about gaming here recently and I realized that a lot of the sites I visit semi-regularly aren't over on the sidebar. So there you go. I can't believe I forgot to add Jeff's Gameblog - the only link in the "Gaming" section that, you know, actually appears in my RSS feed. I plead "senior moment" on this one. Sail to Adventure on the Scenic Series of Tubes!
