Friday, June 03, 2005. Tonight I've finished my 7 circles. 1680 problems in 83 days. Now I can sleep again on decent times, do something in the house, feed my pets and husband with home coocked meals, do some trout fishing, see the sun again, (is it still hanging there? Hang out with my choir friends and have a beer after singing, instead of running home to do my circles. I think I have family somewhere, I hope they did not forget me. After I had tp return my tactics book to the library, I've gone back to CTS, like many other knights. Good luck to the new knights and I hope that Samurai Knight will return one day. I won a slow game today on FICS against a guy who wasn't too good, but lost a game I had won. This is a game I lost after a cool tactic after 22. c7 but blundered it after 25. Nc4. 2008 február 25., hétfő. Oh well, there's a first time for everything. A King's Gambit game I won this weekend:. 1 e4 e5 2. f4 exf4 3. Nf3 Nf6 4. Nc3 d5 5. d4? 160; 4.exd5 would have been better (4.Nxd5 5.Nxd5 Qxd5 6.d4 (according to Fritz). Dxe4 6. Nxe4? 160; The game is lost.

2000 Before I Croak. Saturday, December 22, 2007. So i was doing some thinking. And i figured it out. :-) i was digging a trench in the back yard. 6 feet deep, i think that's like 14 meters for you guys in the rest of the world. If you missed the last post. go read it! Just kidding. it said i had to think about how i should best learn how to learn to play chess. well the answer that came up wasn't really the path to getting better. but, the thing that has been bothering me a bit. NOT HOW TO GET THERE!

2000 Before I Croak. Tuesday, April 1, 2008. Just got the leningrad dutch book by some german guy in english. hmmm. So its dutch, russian, german and english. just like me. :-) if only my american indian ancester chief kickbutt was in there someplace it would really be like me! Well, anyway it looks pretty interesting, you know what you are going to play against d4 and a couple of the other starts you can use it too. some people think its not too good so thats also the kind of stuff i like.
