The Jogger Blogger: May 2006
http://joggerblogger64.blogspot.com/2006_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 31. It's the final countdown. It’s time to get serious well as serious as I can be. I’ve just checked my calendar and it’s only 14 weeks to the Nottingham RobinHood half. Now that my ankle seems to be behaving it’s time to get some proper miles and training in. I've redone the counter on the right-hand side to count down to the race :-P. The Jogger Blogger: March 2006
http://joggerblogger64.blogspot.com/2006_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 31. Well actually two things about it, number one being the first mile of any run. I HATE IT! My brain tells me to stop, it hurts, sit down and do something less energetic instead. Then to add to the chorus, my lungs pipe in with the go home anthem with backing vocals from my dodgy legs. Why? The second thing that I hate about running is it’s so addictive! I have just added up this months totals and adding in today’s 10K run it equals 102 miles! Posted by [rich] at Friday, March 31, 2006.

Wednesday, August 30. It's the 5th night in a row that I'm up past my bed time. How comes you can't sleep until it's time to get up and got to work? The rain sounds nice bouncing off the roof :-P. The Jogger Blogger: April 2006
http://joggerblogger64.blogspot.com/2006_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 27. Not much to report - Stupid busy at work and my ankle still is rubbish :-(. I am hoping that a month will put it right, but I'm not sure it will. On the good news front, went to the hospital* to have an XRAY to see if it was a stress fracture, and it's not :-). I also got my shoe inserts the other day, went for a slow walk at lunchtime - they make your trainers feel odd as your foot can't flatten out, they will take a bit of getting used to I think. Tuesday, April 25. Non run related ...

The Jogger Blogger: July 2006

Saturday, July 29. But no one bothered to tell the magpie. Family that live in the garden. They have one baby (which is obsessed with our rabbit), and man is it loud! The trouble is they wake up as soon as it's light, and start kicking off around 3.30am. This isn't normally too much of a problem, but with the hot nights we have been sleeping with the windows open - so the beaky alarm woke us all up. Posted by [rich] at Saturday, July 29, 2006.
