Moveable Type: November 2014
http://moveable-type.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Moving, typing and procrastinating. Monday, 10 November 2014. Whoa, I have a blog? Ooops, I totally forgot about doing this. it's been a busy few months, I guess! We went to Indonesia ( Bukit Lawang. I actually took this photo with my actual camera. I was this close (and closer) to this Orangutan Mum and Baby,. Phew), and then got lost again on the way down the Bumdra trek. Saw Tiger's Nest Monastery. I'll never forget you). And a trip to Universal Studios! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). After I finished my...

Moving, typing and procrastinating. Thursday, 29 May 2014. I am going to interrupt the Mum and Lovey stories (there are several more million photos of tourist attractions to subject you to yet) with some breaking news: Eoin and I are now bakers. Our first solution had been going to the bakery daily, but then we hatched a genius plan - OUR OWN BREADMAKER! It's awesome, too, even though our bread maker selection criteria extended only to "which one is cheapest? A little doughy, but held up. Thats how good ...

Moving, typing and procrastinating. Thursday, 2 October 2014. Oops - missed a bit of stuff. Sorry, it's been a busy few months, and I have gotten really behind! Here's a short version of what we've been up to:. Jodie visited for a day! Bukit Timah Monkey Walk. Met up in Paris for a weekend, went to visit E's parents in Herepian, and had a brilliant time. Went to Sibu Island for Singapore National Day (Singapore's 49th birthday) long weekend. Aaron and Corey visit. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Moving, typing and procrastinating. Monday, 31 January 2011. Day 191 in Japan - Sick Day. Today was not one of the top days in Japan, but it was memorable as my first sick day! You are a champ. I went back to sleep for a bit, then dragged myself to the supermarket for some throat lozenges, painkillers and something to take down my temperature (it was over 39). I think that the walk to the supermarket did some to take the temperature down – it was -3 at 8:30. Sunday, 30 January 2011. After our shopping, w...

Moving, typing and procrastinating. Monday, 1 September 2014. There are a lot of amusing things about living in Singapore, and Eoin and I have been trying to think of a few of the more amusing ones. First, differences between Singaporeans. And people in other cultures I have dealt with that I find amusing most of the time (although sometimes I do have to close my eyes, take a deep breath and work hard to convince myself that they are amusing and not incredibly frustrating). Every mall has a shop or two s...

The Life Robotic: Outdone_by_a_12_year_old.post

In which Fletcher Thompson will verb a(n) object . (Results may vary). Outdone by a 12 year old.post. We've all felt the existential angst of not necessarily achieving everything we hope and plan to do. I'm sure that if you're reading this, at the very least there's something you've always wanted to do but haven't yet, or some grand plan you wanted to achieve. And prove Einstein wrong by travelling faster than the speed of light. Oh and build a totally sweet electric bike. Simple idea, but it works.

And now to some of the weird and wonderful items spit up from the bowels of the internet like some horrid reflux after a really big meal. It's a well known fact that I like robots, quite a lot. I would like to build them, professionally as it were. I enjoy dancing like them. This blog has robot in the title. Honestly, what would you expect? Awwww, poor guy. And readers of Geekologie. May have ...

In which Fletcher Thompson will verb a(n) object . (Results may vary). This would be blog attempt number 3. The first was my old blurty account. I'm not gonna link it. It was mostly my excited rants about games I was looking forward to and how much work I was doing at uni. By the end it just turned into shit quizzes. Anyway. The second attempt was here. It didn't last long and was mostly shameful self-indulgent twoddle. Also, it was boring. View my complete profile. Follow me on Twitter.

The House of Masks
The House of Masks. The sun is up. 10 May 2012 @ 10:25 pm. Good grief, a year and a half since I last posted? How the heck did that happen? Although on reflection, no one probably would've noticed if I hadn't pointed it out. Oops. Oh well, at some point I plan to stop being lazy and make icons of something other than Zero Punctuation, but for now, here's these. Ingitnow, Pokemon White (N), Metroid (Samus), Ocarina of Time (Navi), and a bunch of other random eps. Blank icons are not bases. The sun is up.

Moving, typing and procrastinating. Tuesday, 29 September 2015. Singapore Memories Part 2 - Visitors! We've been really lucky to have been visited by loads of lovely people across the last 1.5 years, and we've explored loads of Singapore, the surrounding islands. Here's some just from the last year. Some undoubtedly high class champagne being swilled from plastic cups by the pool :). Marina Bay drinks on the last night of their visit. Mum and Dad Thompson. Visiting the Botanic Gardens. Ma and Da Murray.
