I like to run around this lake, its exactly a 5K! Map of the 5K run. I put my gym membership on hold for the summer. This was during an abs and arms workout. I am now bartering with a friend- He has a gym in his garage, so he weight trains me, and I clean up his house! Taped shin splint-icing shin splints. Saturday, August 24, 2013. I'm sorry I am slacking. Where do I start? I haven't posted in forever! I have been so extremely busy! School, Nannying, Pier 1, Running, Traveling, Races and oh, did I mention I got a NEW JOB! As an Interior Design assistant! I start after labor day. It is literally exactly what I have want to do! So anywho. an update on running. Eric and I ran a triple race last weekend! But the fact that I did it, and followed through was a feat for me, we're in the double digits club now :).

Well my friends, I have yet to find time to do that with marathon training! My boyfriend Eric and I were at church one Sunday, when a guy came up on the stage and presented to us Team World Vision. He told us about the great cause and the opportunity for us to change the lives of people in Africa. Basically he said "We run marathons and raise money for people in Africa to get them clean water." Tuesday, July 30, 2013. Eric and I did an 8k (4.97 mile) trail run this past Saturday! It was awesome, definitely my favorite run yet. Running on the trail felt so much better on my feet and legs than the pavement. This course had A LOT of hills and roots and mud (it down poured just before and then continued to rain until the end) and this guy who was running right behind us had a DOUBLE JOGGING STROLLER! I came in 5 minutes under my goal, needless to say I was pretty happy! PLEASE HELP ME REACH MY GOAL.

I love food just as much as anyone else. I will admit, I do have the occasional sweet tooth.JUST LIKE ANYONE ELSE.Oops :). I have been using the MyFitnessPal app on to track my food intake. This has definitely helped me with being accountable for my eating habits. One other note: I used to like McDonalds.mm hm yuck, but really. It was a quick meal on the go!
