http://chimptalk.blogspot.com/2010/02/tallyteers-for-january.html
Chimp talk: sleestakk's movie tally. STILL BLOGGING EVERY MOVIE I WATCH IN. Monday, February 01, 2010. January Movie Tally = 51 films seen. Think only a 2 or 3 were rewatches. the rest were all new! Not bad considering I wasn't trying to watch many films. I think that beats January '09. But this tells me that I need to back off and watch less. or watch more TV series (I'm trying) and read some books (started). Watches today included Alice at the Palace (Broadway Theatre Archive). Dipped into my San Jose VHS haul to finally view this gem. Really fun early 80s sci-fi action adventure. Naturally a Road Warrior rip-off but still plenty entertaining. And Steve Sandor is a decent lead as Stryker. “After the holocaust, nothing matters but survival.”. Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Directed by Rupert Wyatt. Check out what I'm watching!

Nice little indie sci-fi film co-written by Brit Marling. Mostly really enjoyed this but had a hard time getting past William Mapother because he will always be “Ethan” from LOST to me.
