Friday, February 14, 2014. Ahhhh Valentine's Day. Flowers. Candy. Romance. Declarations of Love. Sometimes I get stuff, sometimes I don't. But I am loved all the other days of the year too. Love is letting me get a 3rd dog/2nd lab when it was probably the last thing we needed. Love is flushing the line in my truck to make sure my heater works. Love is always letting me have the newer vehicle to drive. Love is talking about me during his retirement speech. Love is buying me pink knives(but GOOD knives too).

Tuesday, August 12, 2014. It's the little things that make life great. This morning, all 3 of us were in the kitchen. I made the man's breakfast(egg and bacon sammich on toast) and mine(oats, and cinnamon toast). The manchild had to be at work early today, so he was up and eating Cookie Crisp with us. The manchild works at Panera. He came home from work yesterday and told me that the pumpkin pie bagels(AND the amazing NY cheesecake cream cheese! 12 years in the PacNW and I grew to love that weather!

Sunday, May 18, 2014. Week 2-still getting on track. Still getting back on track with the gym, running, and working out. Did good and made it 5 outta 7 days again(which is my goal). My body is definitely getting used to the early wake ups again-though it'll be even earlier on Mondays as Scottie(our trainer) bumped up our time to 0515! Hot and sweaty after the Leatherneck 5k.
