https://runsinthefamily.wordpress.com/2011/05/17/cleveland-marathon-race-report
Three generations of runners down the years. May 17, 2011. Cleveland Marathon Race Report. First, the Expo on Saturday was fun! I took DD Maggie, rushed over to the Expo after a morning track meet ( which had been rescheduled from Thursday because of thunderstorms) and we arrived in the parking lot just in time for a downpour. After staying in the car waiting for the rain to subside for a bit, we made a mad dash through the parking lot to the entrance. We met fellow bloggers Jodi. And I stayed with anoth...

https://runsinthefamily.wordpress.com/2011/04/17/lots-of-updates-and-yay-katie-2
Three generations of runners down the years. April 17, 2011. And yay, Katie! I promised a race report from the half marathon that was, what, two weeks ago? With Track in full swing my time is pretty much used up! So here is a quicky race report :. The Towpath Half Marathon – I found out about it the day before, and decided to sign up because I needed to run 12 that day, and figured the race would be a great way to have a supported ( water stops, etc) run! Of course, did I take advantage of the support?

Three generations of runners down the years. September 26, 2011. Creative title, huh? It has been a while since I posted! I had hoped to do a nice long buildup of mileage over the summer, but unfortunately circumstances got in the way. I have been running, but not nearly as much as I originally planned. However the cross country season is in full swing! After starting out hot hot hot, we are in a stretch of rainy weather, which means mud! Lots of mud. This is a pic from one of my son’s meets:. Here is an...

Running to Dinner: 24-Hour Half Ironman
http://runningtodinner.blogspot.com/2010/08/24-hour-half-ironman.html
The adventures of an eater on the run. Tuesday, August 24, 2010. I did my first Half Ironman this weekend! Well, not really. But within 24 hours, I did 14-mile run, a 70-mile bike ride, and a one-mile ocean swim, all with some good friends. I think I felt just as exhausted afterwards as I would have if it were a real half ironman. But I definitely had more fun. On Saturday, I did my first long run of the season. I received a horrifying reminder last week from Mikey B that the Reach the Beach Relay. Lucki...

Running to Dinner: April 2011
http://runningtodinner.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
The adventures of an eater on the run. Thursday, April 21, 2011. A year and a half after running the race that got me to Boston, a year and a half of a long, bumpy road that saw an injury that never fully healed, and that saw me decide at the last minute not to run the New York City Marathon this past fall, I went to Boston, hungering for redemption, and ran the race of my life! The night before the race, 27 Front Runners and friends joined together at Antonio's of Beacon Hill. I slept surprisingly sound...
