Prairie Knitter: June 2006
http://prairieknitter.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 29, 2006. Somehow, it always comes back to me. I haven’t mentioned this before, but one of the major things occurring in this house right now is that my husband is going to climb Mt. McKinley (or Denali, as it is rightly called in Alaska) next year. You know, the highest mountain in ALL OF NORTH AMERICA. He’s been climbing mountains for years, and has even done a couple glaciated mountains, but Denali. He needed, maybe, something LIKE THIS:. Yep, we copycatted Nanda. Monday, June 26, 2006.

Prairie Knitter: February 2006
http://prairieknitter.blogspot.com/2006_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 28, 2006. This is too much to ask for a damn associates degree. I deserve a complimentary master's just for. Soyeah. At 5:30 tonight, I’ll be sitting at my lab station with my clear plastic container of shit sitting in front of me, trying not to look anyone in the face because they just caught me furtively glancing at their poop. Which, let me reiterate, will be sitting in front of us. On a table. Keep me in your thoughts while y’all are enjoying your dinner tonight! I LOVE this pattern!

Tuesday, June 03, 2008. I just received an e-newsletter from a yarn company, in which ideas for Father's Day knitting projects were given. Which is awesome, because now I'll have Father's Day 2011 taken care of. Posted by katie @ 10:37 AM. Comments: Post a Comment. Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States. View my complete profile.

Effervescence: August 2008
http://champagnebyone.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Family life, learning, and a dash of fun from an at-home mom of 2 sons (ages 14 and 10) who has been called effervescent, to her puzzlement. Thursday, August 28, 2008. Meal plans for late summer. So I've lost 10 pounds since April 1 and joining SparkPeople.com. And tracking what I eat (as well as continuing to walk for fitness). Now that summer weather has started to break a bit, and we're back to school and fall family routines, I Need To Plan Good Meals! On hand for snacks etc:. Plums, peaches, apples.

Prairie Knitter: Levi: Month One
http://prairieknitter.blogspot.com/2008/04/levi-month-one.html
Thursday, April 10, 2008. We brought you home from the hospital on New Year’s Eve. Wouldn’t it be nice to say that we stayed up with you until midnight and toasted the start of our first year as a family of three while fireworks exploded in the background? When you were a week old, however, you started to wake up more. You would often sit and watch the world around you, as long as you had a boob or a finger to suck on. We took you to Hideaway Pizza when you were seven days old, and you behaved ve...I pla...

ForKnit About It: April 2007
http://forknitaboutit.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 04, 2007. Attention: Tulsa Area Knitters. Okay, I know you're out there. I can't remember the last time I knitted with other knitters. I need camaraderie. I need adult conversation that DOES NOT involve which student is totally out of whack this week. Good food would be pleasant too. Anyone interested in going to Fringe for First Friday Potluck this week? I don't know if she's got a theme or not, but it usually ends up being an entertaining event! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Prairie Knitter: October 2005
http://prairieknitter.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 31, 2005. Happy hallosleep.i mean ween.happy halloween. In Fight Club, our hero Edward Norton goes to see the doctor about his insomnia. His doctor tells him that you can’t die from lack of sleep. Now, I can separate fact from fiction enough to know that I can’t believe what this doctor character says. He is in a. But right now, it’s about all the hope I have. But enough about me. I’ll sleep when I’m dead. The kind that worship Satan! Happy Halloween and Happy November! Haven't been knitt...
