Tuesday, July 6, 2010. Hockey Night in Quito. I did not realize how cold it has been in Quito, so after a weekend at the beach, where it rains incessantly but the air and the water both in the ocean and from the sky is warm, it feels colder than ever. Sunday, July 4, 2010. Rain, Mist and Grey Skies. More of a Usual Day. Catching up with Reading. Beach to the South. Teepee on the Beach. Rain or Shine on the Beach. I slept well in our tent, but Gabriel, Maria and Hernan were attacked by mosquitoes all through the night. Maya was eaten up as well.
