There are some whack jobs in the New Zealand government who want to dig a tunnel from- I believe- Queenstown to Milford Sound with a monorail to ferry even more tourists to the scenic site. To start with, myself and my Manc companion were given chisels to chip away at the paint covering the bolts keeping the balustrades down. Then we had to take out the bolts.
