Thursday, 27 August 2015. Madison completed today's challenge of building a house, it even has a chimney! Ruby and Madison working hard at the creating table. Alexis is making a kite while Alizae buils a collage. Ruby is making a wallet full of money. Summer and Tileah cooperating to finish a puzzle. The boys absolutely love the lego table! Alexis completed our challenge of the day: Making a boat with a sail. Madison made a boat with a sail too. Mila put together this puzzle of a honey bee by herself.

Wednesday, 3 June 2015. Bees in Room One! Today we had a visit from Tim and Matt, they work for Watson and Sons, one of the biggest honey producers in the Wairarapa. Tim and Matt brought hives, a bee suit, some wax, honey, and a smoker to our classroom. Mrs Charlotte put on the bee suit and looked just like a beekeeper! All suited up and ready with the smoker. I was doing a pattern with yellow and green squares on the shoelace. I took a picture with the iPad. - Alizae. I made a pattern using orange and red blocks and then I took a photo. - Bailey.
