More specifically, "water boatsmen" and "skippers". As in the ones that have decided to claim the uncleaned, algae ridden pool as their home. The trick is to take your bug net, scoop out the water bugs, and transfer them to the wagon. Add a few twigs, dirt, and who knows what else. And there you have it- hours. Naturally, ...

I did get the coop spruced up a bit. The pine shaving litter is composting a bit and has started putting off some heat, so the girls will be happily warm when the thermometer plunges again. I was the lucky piano player. 2 pm- The boys are more than anxious to open their presents. Popper toys. These days, we have "popper fights" instead of "pillow fights" in our house. Saturday, June 16, 2012. The month of may went by entirely too fast. I have some catching up to do but here are a few random photos of the kids. I took a series of photos one afternoon in the back yard of Bay for his birthday invitation. Here is one of my favorites. Makena has the smallest feet.
