Fabulous Muscles: Chanel Pre-Fall 2012
http://iwishforfabulousmuscles.blogspot.com/2011/12/chanel-pre-fall-2012.html
Karl Lagerfield really outdid himself this time. We're going to ignore the fact that fall is not for another year and simply discuss this stunning collection. Obviously, it was Indian-inspired. You saw it everywhere, from the headpieces to the nose rings to the draped pants to the collars to the plentiful prints. Despite never having been to India, Karl got it totally right. And he used Indian girls! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I sing operas in the shower. I'm rather eccentric. I Do, You Should.

Fabulous Muscles: February 2011
http://iwishforfabulousmuscles.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
The road trip video I've always dreamed of making! Disorienting as usual from the Kills. Loving the song, of course. I'm positively agog for the new album coming out in April. I come to you with a severe case of laryngitis! Anyway, I've fallen seriously in love with this editorial. I'm rather puzzled as to why they chose to do a white Frida Kahlo, but what do I, a silly young lass, know? And bright lipstick abound! It's basically what I want to look like all the time. This isn't really related to anythin...

Fabulous Muscles: Walk like a panther
http://iwishforfabulousmuscles.blogspot.com/2011/10/walk-like-panther.html
Walk like a panther. Ignore my total dork face, the point here is to show off my snazzy DIY/ thrifted possessions. Well, minus the cardigan. Sorry, Samantha. I've been having some Russians stay with my family for the past two weeks. Yes, it's a constant party, and no, I don't sleep. Issue. At least Halloween is almost upon us, that most rad of holidays! In typical Stacy fashion, my costume's still not done, but just you wait, Henry Higgins. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Charlotte Free by Elena Rendina in Wonderland Magazine). This editorial captured my fancies almost precisely! Grunge lips and eyes, prints, prints, and more prints, big-ass florals, and raaaaaaiiinnnbbbbbooooowwww. And I was even thinking about dying my hair pink a few days ago. Fabulous Muscles: Album of the Month: November 2011
http://iwishforfabulousmuscles.blogspot.com/2011/11/album-of-month-november-2011.html
Album of the Month: November 2011. Call me cliche. I dare you. I also dare you to call this band or this album boring. Sure, when people think about the Doors, the image of Jim Morrison is difficult to disregard, but there was so much more to them. Have you ever truly paused to listen to Ray Manzarek's keyboards? Like his solo in Light My Fire? The man was a true poet of his time, and a visionary for posterity. I mean, really, what the fuck is The End all about? Labels: album of the month. All photos tak...

Fabulous Muscles: April 2011
http://iwishforfabulousmuscles.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
What's not to love? Oversized gloves and hats, fur abound, striking use of color, and a 60s/70s feel is overwhelmingly awesome. Trussardi does color blocking in a subtle way, the brightest color being red. Glamour is the operative word here. And did you see those fur boots/ heels/wtf? They're like sexier snowshoes. Hot damn (well, just damn, we are talking about snowshoes)! You know this color scheme and styling reminds me of something. I mean, look at this. If you're on spring break, I hope you had a ma...
