That's one of our favorite things at the Cape! In smooth water you can make your own concentric circles. My shadow on the left is huge- I look like an oddly shaped giant! Rocco and John were basically playing a game of "fetch," in which Rocco would throw the ball as far as he could into the water and John would go retrieve it.

Last summer we finally went to Mayflower Beach, which is one of the most popular beaches on Cape Cod. It's a hard beach to get into because the parking lot fills up so fast due to its popularity. Obviously it's not ours, but it's the one by our house that we go to the most often, mostly in the evenings as a nice way to finish up the day. It's our beach. For Sam and I, it was our first time doing one of these. And I'm happy to report that it was awesome! We went in the morning when it wasn't too hot, and the weather was clear and nice, and we had some really good whale sightings. It was so much fun! We used Hyannis Whale Watcher Cruises. Sailing out of Barnstable. They did a good job.

It was a wonderful day and night with dancing into the small hours with a cool band that could do it all. 50S, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and all the rest of 2000s. We can’t thank you all enough for coming so far, even from Glasgow with some coming from New York! Now how far out is that? It is 3221 miles to be exact!
