I really hated this place when we first moved here and now I love it. After 2 years. It took some time. I am excited to be closer to family and to be buying a home soon. I got a new car to tool around in when we get back to. Working for OP should be intersesting after being gone for so long. I am sure nothing has changed. He is a really sweet guy.

I do miss my parents and friends, but I think of Public Enemy's "Don't Believe the Hype" whenever the holidays roll around. Everyone talks about going to see their relatives and how it will be shitty or great or some such thing, and then this whole cycle of repetitive conversation or small talk begins whether we like it or not.
