Un-/Employed: Law School #1

Thursday, September 15, 2011. The blog right now. That, and I'm so totally fried once and if I actually do have time to write something for myself that I can't manage it. Yesterday, however, there was quite a convergence of my past and present interests in three little moments: two while sitting in Property, one preparing for Torts. The court did not enforce that request! So long for now. I suppose I will write again eventually, if not soon. Posted by Joseph Center. Saginaw Arts and Sciences Academy.

The Center Stage: June 2015

Friday, June 26, 2015. Act 5; Scene 31: The Saga of the Baby Contest 2015. In Lehi, we have a week-long city celebration called "Lehi Round Up Days." It's mostly centered around the Lehi Round Up Rodeo, which runs all week- but there are also loads of fun activities. Seriously, the whole city just comes to a standstill- the library closes early, the grocery stores have special events, residents set their chairs and blankets out on Sunday to save a good spot for the three (yes THREE! A whole bunch of Roya...

Friday, October 31, 2014. Act 5; Scene 14: Happy Halloween! This week wraps up our final Spooktacular meal and Halloween festivities. On Wednesday, we had a more traditional-looking Halloween dinner:. Tomato basil soup with the last of our garden tomatoes. Not actually pumpkin, but pumpkin shaped. And it was delicious! I forgot how good tomato basil soup can be. I'm glad we got to have it at least once this season! And the pumpkin rolls turned out pretty cute, too. I love the big stem! He was pretty stok...

Sunday, July 20, 2014. Act 4; Scene 46: No More Baby About this Baby. As if turning two wasn't enough. My baby is no longer a baby. On Friday, we went to the American Fork Carnival, and Tommy rode all of the rides by. him.self. If you couldn't tell, he takes his ride-riding very seriously. You couldn't tell how much fun he was having until you tried to get him off of the ride. Today he got to wear his new tie and belt to church. And if nothing else sealed the deal, this outfit did:. Friday, July 11, 2014.

The Center Stage: Act 5; Scene 34: Thomas Turns 3...a Month Ago!!!
http://carsonandrobert.blogspot.com/2015/08/act-5-scene-34-thomas-turns-3a-month-ago.html
Monday, August 3, 2015. Act 5; Scene 34: Thomas Turns 3.a Month Ago! Sheesh. It gets a little crazy around here with two kids and a house to clean, not to mention two gardens and church callings and whatever else we decide to say yes to! I blame that on why it's taken me so long to post about Tommy's birthday. That, and Tommy's birthday was kind of like a saga this year- a caravan of events before and after the grand day. They need a ticket. So we decided to do as many things as we could BEFORE. All the ...

Tuesday, April 28, 2015. Act 5; Scene 27: Robert's Birthday. It's no secret that I love surprises. And trying to come up with awesome surprises for my favorite man is such fun! This year I decided on a Park City over night trip. We have been talking about going up to Park City FOREVER because Robert had never been. Granted, we weren't going to go skiing and the summer attractions weren't open yet, but I decided that now was as good a time as ever! Thanks to my mom and dad (thanks, guys! Scarlet even slep...

Thursday, May 8, 2014. Act 4; Scene 40: A Lovely Spring Sunday. Last Sunday we decided to jump ship from our normal routine and take Tommy on his first visit to temple square. And I really wanted to see all of the tulips. It was such a nice early morning on temple square. It smells SO GOOD. All those blossoms! And Thomas looked adorable, if I say so myself. Everyone we walked past commented, "Oh, he's so cute! Either to us, or to themselves. :-). And of course, we took lots of pictures. On August 17, 201...

Monday, June 23, 2014. Act 4; Scene 42: The Parable of the Long Spoons- And My Opinion About Cultural Disputes of Late. Adapted by Elisa Pearmain from a Japanese and Chinese folk tale. Long ago there lived an old woman who had a wish. She wished more than anything to see for herself the difference between heaven and hell. The monks in the temple agreed to grant her request. They put a blindfold around her eyes, and said, "First you shall see hell.". The smells that reached her nose were wonderful. Let us...
