Mr. Ed's Strange Gravestones
Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Most gravestones simply tell the name of the deceased and the years of their birth and death. Many have a prayer or poem or something written by the family. But there are many gravestones, both older and newer that show more about the former person that lays buried beneath it. Some of these gravestone, or monuments, show the comical side to ether the deceased or the person(s) that was in charge of having the marker erected. Click Link for my Blog List. Hello, I'm Mr. Ed.

My 1985 Renault
Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). My mother-in-law had to stop driving because of her age. She owned this 1985 Renault coupe and it had sat in her garage for a little over three years. She told me that if I wanted it, I could have it free. When I arrived to check it out, I couldn't believe the condition. It was near factory mint with only 48,000 original miles. I drove the car the four miles to our house. It ran perfectly. We've driven the car over 30,000 miles so far with no problems. Hello, I'm Mr. Ed.

Buried in Britain's Biggest Coffin
Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Burial in Britain's biggest coffin. Thursday, August 9, 2007. A father weighing more than 300kg (50st) has been buried in what could be the biggest coffin ever made in Britain. Following Mark Bamber's death, his family faced a difficult task – how to bury him with dignity. A traditionally shaped coffin was impossible, so carpenters crafted a more box-like casket, 2.4m (7ft 11in) tall and 1.4m (4ft 6in) wide. Mr Bamber was bedridden for the last eight months of his life. Alan R...

Since the dawn of motoring, the people of America has needed a way to get around. For those who had no automobile, cities had to provide some sort of transportation. Hence the city bus.
