Mr Gill's Blog: Life Changing Decisions
http://mrgill17.blogspot.com/2015/07/life-changing-decisions.html
Life in a Border Town. View my complete profile. Thursday, 23 July 2015. Shot of the Day. Just a very brief blog today to get myself into the swing of things after a lengthy blogging absence. I woke at 5am this morning and unable to get back to sleep I got up, and after a cup of tea I went to the moorland feeder station to fill the feeders. At 6am there was plenty of bird life. I sat in the hide for an hour enjoying the early morning spectacle and peacefulness. Plenty of bird life. Posted by Sandy Gill.
Mr Gill's Blog: A Historic Event
http://mrgill17.blogspot.com/2015/03/a-historic-event.html
Life in a Border Town. View my complete profile. Saturday, 21 March 2015. Shot of the Day. To see more of Gavin's photos. After a while we were starting to get chilled and decided to head for home. After lunch I met Tootlepedal at Wauchope Cottage to go on a pre-arranged jaunt. Tootlepedal suggested we had a stroll on our favourite riverside walk on the Esk near Irving house. I saw my first Primrose of the Spring. Tootlepedal makes his way gingerly along the stony path by the river. Posted by Sandy Gill.

Mr Gill's Blog: A Blustery, Clarty Walk.
http://mrgill17.blogspot.com/2015/08/a-blustery-clarty-walk.html
Life in a Border Town. View my complete profile. Tuesday, 4 August 2015. A Blustery, Clarty Walk. Shot of the day. My shiny new car. The track was rather clarty in places. There were plenty of wild plants growing profusely along the way. I found this shadow rather attractive. There were plenty of pheasants about, some on the ground. And some in the air. The old gateway leading to Holmhead. Approaching the North Lodge. I thought this plough was interesting enough to be shot in monochrome. Shot of the Day.

New Hampshire Garden Solutions. Exploring Nature in New Hampshire. Time for a Climb. Into the Land of Ice and Stone. March 4, 2015 by New Hampshire Garden Solutions. Right beside the green ice in the previous photo was this black / brown ice, which I’ve never seen here or anywhere else before. I’d guess that it was either soil or minerals that gave it this color. Note how the snow below it looks dirty. My favorite color is the blue ice, and this was the bluest ice I’ve ever seen. There was water runn...

It is also a Dawes and for the money it was a wonderful buy. It has been utterly reliable, very comfortable and a good w...That is n...

French Trip, Cycling. French Trip; The start. A look at life in the borders. Laquo; Long day. August 13, 2015 by tootlepedal. It was a lovely day in Edinburgh today and Mrs Tootlepedal’s guest picture of the day shows TWGT on Portobello promenade beside the sea. For some reason, I felt a touch weary this morning so I let Mrs Tootlepedal go off to Edinburgh by herself. Because there wasn’t a chilly wind blowing, this felt like the best morning of the year and certainly, the roses were enjoying life. 8230;...

French Trip, Cycling. French Trip; The start. A look at life in the borders. Review of 2105 in Pictures. These are not necessarily the best pictures that I took during the year but just some that interested me when I looked back through the files. I have arranged them by month and tried to stick to just one a month (but failed). Most of them have already appeared on the daily blog. We often get visited by the sparrowhawk. I have put three in from this month as I couldn’t chose just one from them. I have ...

Life in a Border Town. View my complete profile. Thursday, 5 April 2018. But I did like this one of Beverley Market Place. It was my turn to fill the feeders at the moorland station this morning and Tootlepedal kindly accompanied me and after filling the feeders we spent some time in the hide hoping for something interesting to come along, but as busy as it was nothing interesting came along. It was nice to see some frog spawn appear in the little pond that was created adjacent to the hide. For a more de...
