WILDLIFE: Gorilla
http://wildliferifat.blogspot.com/2010/04/gorilla.html
Posted by Maksud Alam Rifat. Gorillas are the largest of the living primates. They are ground-dwelling and predominantlyherbivorous. They inhabit the forests of central Africa. Gorillas are divided into two species and (still under debate as of 2008) either four or five subspecies. The DNA of gorillas is 98%–99% identical to that of a human, and they are the next closest living relatives to humans after the two chimpanzee species. 0 Response for the "Gorilla". WILDLIFE: Leaf Insect
http://wildliferifat.blogspot.com/2010/05/leaf-insect.html
Posted by Maksud Alam Rifat. Leaf insects use camouflage to take on the appearance of a leaf. They do this so accurately that predators often aren't able to distinguish them from real leaves. In some species the edge of the leaf insect's body even has the appearance of bite marks. To further confuse predators, when the leaf insect walks, it rocks back and forth, to mimic a real leaf being blown by the wind. 0 Response for the "Leaf Insect". Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
