It was made official at some point back in May: Buffalo experienced the wettest spring on record. That's over 140 years of weather records, my friends! Our backyard was an absolute swamp! We left the house around 7:30-ish (I think) and got into Indianapolis around 5pm. The ride was pretty uneventful and the boys were well-behaved. I got to have Chick-fil-a for lunch so I was in happy. ;). When we got checked into our hotel room, we noticed that there was a basketball court right outside of our building. Monday, January 31, 2011. I love quiet weekends at home with the family. In the last few months, we've taken to playing up a Friday or Saturday evening at home by creating family movie night. All we do is move the living room furniture around, blow up the air mattress and put in a movie for the boys to watch. To really get into the spirit of movie night, we turn out the lights and microwave some popcorn. It turns into a really fun evening in! Sunday, January 30, 2011. This is a common scene in our house.

Monday, August 1, 2011. For some random reason, my employer designated the Friday before the 4th of July as a holiday. I decided to embrace the day off and take the boys cherry picking. Mom and Dad came along for the adventure. :). Low hanging cherry tree branches were handy for allowing Ian and Matthew to pick fruit without assistance. Sunday, July 31, 2011. At the end of June, Mike played in the Gus Macker tournament so we all packed up to go watch him play.
