Reflections Of a Middle Years Teacher. Just another WordPress.com weblog. Animoto and Voicethread →. March 31, 2008. Hope everyone had a great Easter Break. I certainly did. We did not do a whole bunch, but we spent some quality time together as a family, celebrated my oldest daughter’s 8th birthday, and were fortunate to be visited by the Easter Bunny! All in all, a really great week and I can’t wait to get back to school! Hope you feel the same. Can you measure angles and construct angles? We will cont...

Reflections Of a Middle Years Teacher. Just another WordPress.com weblog. April 1, 2008. I hope you guys enjoyed being introduced to the new technologies today. I hope that the new approach to learning is one that you are enjoying. Most of these technologies I am experimenting with for the first time so we will have some growing pains. Please bear with me. It is extremely important that you make sure to keep up! Hopefully it will work. Wish me luck. This entry was posted in Uncategorized.

I really enjoyed the opportunity to sit through the Student-Teacher- Parent conferences yesterday. All of you have grown so much this year as students and citizens. You should all be very proud. I have to run, my daughter is involved in a hockey tournament this weekend at the Fairview rinks. This weekend, I am a hockey dad! Did a...

I do need to update my blog . . . so here I am. Things have been just so crazy lately. My daughters are busy (much like most kids) every night of the week. https://tk34.wordpress.com/page/2
The Trials of a ‘Rookie’ Blogger. For steering me in the right direction. I was able to get my blogroll onto my page. I was doing everything correct but I had removed the links widget (in my hours of trying to get the blogroll to show). Lots of man hours to try to solve a simple problem. I would appreciate any feedback. Although a work in progress, I introduced my classes to my digital project. I toured them through my Science 6 class on my Moodle page. Not this one, but the one I have started for them t...

https://tk34.wordpress.com/2008/03/26/catching-up
The Trials of a ‘Rookie’ Blogger. My blog has been neglected! I am finding (once again) that there are not enough hours in the day to ‘keep up’. It has been a while since I last blogged but I have many ideas in my head. I am like a ‘bad student’! I have quite a few blogs partially done (those ideas that I have) but not finished! Thankfully, I have some time to finish a couple right now. Secondly, I have spent much more time on ‘ the other blog. Reminds me of the Rocky IV movie . . . the speec...I enjoy r...

The Trials of a ‘Rookie’ Blogger. Choice Fatigue . . . No Kidding! As a self-proclaimed technological ‘rookie’, I experienced a very interesting discussion on March 18th in my EC&I 831. Class I listened to Brian Lamb. And D’Arcy Norman. Discuss many issues . . . most of which I did not understand! If not, go back to the drawing board. Today, my ‘tool-kit’ (compared to 2 1/2 months ago) is over-flowing. Although modest to many of you, I have two blogs. A Moodle page for my Science 6. Have created a You-Tu...
