Jon Macalutas Mr. Mac. I am very excited to be returning for my second year of teaching as the Maxwell Junior High School Math and Science teacher. After graduating from Cal Poly SLO with a degree in Industrial Engineering I went on to play professional baseball for 8 years spending time in the minor leagues with the Milwaukee Brewers and Florida Marlins organizations before ending up in Chico playing for the Chico Heat and managing the Chico Outlaws. In 2003 I opened Mac's Professional Baseball School.

Before the bell rings be seated in your assigned seat, have all daily supplies out, sharpen pencil, begin working on warm-up. As the bell rings talking ceases, continue working on warm-up. During the period raise hand if you would like the teacher’s attention, be productive, remain in your seat unless told otherwise. Be courteous and respectful to all people at all times.
