Wednesday, April 15, 2015. France on Thursday…castles! It was a little tough to get the girls out of bed today. After no response, Joe went in their room and threatened, “Get up or I’m going to pose like a Roman statue! 8221; I’ve never seen the girls move more quickly! After our museum visit yesterday, they knew exactly what they’d see if they didn’t get moving. We started at Chambord, one of our favorite castles right on the Loire. It was gorgeous! Friday, November 15, 2013. We finally had picture day for elementary school, so we took our own at home. These kids are so dang cute….I’m a lucky mom! Hawaii – coming home. After spending a fun day on Maui, we were ready to fly home…at 10 pm Luckily, we had a direct flight to Los Angeles and didn’t need to switch planes in Oahu. Wednesday, February 26, 2014. Growing, growing, growing…. One year for Christmas, Jake and Liz gave us each a birthday board. It had Joe’s height already written on it from him growing up. Tuesday, October 22, 2013. Hawaii Trip, Day One. This is a true story, even though it sounds like a fairy tale. Even to me, and I lived it. Friday, January 24, 2014. Ice Castles in Midway. We got a peek at the beginnings of this beautiful creation when we came up for our anniversary, so we decided to come back when it opened up so we could walk through it. Totally worth it. It was so cool! We went with my mom and dad…they live right down the street from this beauty. There were a lot of people, but it wasn’t too crowded.
