Mrs. Baker's Dozen

Monday, August 10, 2015. Monday Made It: Anchor Chart Display. I'm shedding a few tears for this last Monday Made It, sniff sniff. It was a fun and crafty summer, but it's time to get down to first grade business! Sorry for the dark picture! I borrowed this idea from 3rd Grade Gridiron. I had this huge bulletin board that I knew I couldn't put just anything on. I needed something that was worthy! It really was easy peasy! My latest TPT product! Something for my early finishers tub, and this is perfect!

Saturday, March 14, 2015. It's Five For Friday (plus one day) and SPRING BREAKKKKK! I'm beyond excited for this week of rest I've needed for so long. Even if it's an extra 30 min of sleep in the morning, I'm totally grateful! We celebrated St. Paddy's Day a little early in the classroom. Thursday, June 18, 2015. Happy Thursday, everyone! I have to say. I cannot believe just how quickly some things can change! I started this little blog and selling on Teachers Pay Teachers about a year ago. I did not, however, begin to focus myself until this past fall. MyDayinK: February 2015

http://mydayinkinder.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html

This week has been a whirlwind. I had three days with my kiddos and then we had conferences and a day for Professional Development. My Monday started with one kiddo telling me about her weekend. Could not make this stuff up if I tried. Our upcoming science unit is about water exploration. I have uploaded a unit on water to my TPT store. This unit has vocabulary cards, a water easy reader where students can write facts they have learned, a water can be cut and glue activity, and water cycle activities.

It has a topic and 3 clues, it is a.RIDDLE! We started to learn how to write riddles in KS today! Five for Friday: The First Full Week! I have almost made it through my first full week of kindergarten and it has been a great week! There have only been two nights that I have fallen asleep on the couch around eight, so I consider that a success. We have had no crying (by me or the students), no accidents, and we have been having lots of fun. The kiddos are doing a great job learning the routines and procedures of the room. I am excited for a fun filled year! Lastly, I'm really trying to hold true to th...
