I am originally from Kalispell, Montana. I came out to Oregon to attend college and loved it so much I decided to stay. I am married to Joe Behrends and we have two grown children, Sarah and Peter. Joe is also a teacher. He teaches Social Studies at McNary High School. I have taught at Gervais Elementary, Scott Elementary, Weddle Elementary, Rosedale Elementary, Middle Grove Elementary, and now at Chapman Hill Elementary. I really do love teaching kids!
