Third Grade - Room 214. Monday, December 20, 2010. Winter Solstice - Plus A Full Eclipse of the Moon. Tomorrow starts our first full day of winter and the day of the shortest daylight. It is also the day of the longest shadows. If we have sun on Wednesday, check it out. There will be long shadows even at noon.
