Aren't hot air balloons a magical form of transport? So silent and stealthy, suddenly appearing large in the sky with their roar of fire. And today, I happened to be wearing a matching necklace too. Friday, 30 December 2011. Christmas Cushions: Part 1. Hope you had a delicious Christmas filled with yummy food, snoozing in front of festive telly, and mistletoe kisses? Ours has been lovely and hectic and very very special. I teamed this Kokka Cossack Girls. Printed linen (which I love love love) with a bright strip of pink lace and zip, backed in a grey linen striped fabric which was once a skirt which got ripped so was ripe for a spot of upcycling. Sunday, 9 September 2012. Yesterday evening, on a balmy late summer evening, we headed up to the Royal Victoria Park in Bath for not one but two enchanting events. We got there just as four hot air balloons were being lifted into the sky, and stood mesmerised as the latter two filled with air and floated off.
