Wednesday, August 21, 2013. I was walking down the hallway tonight when I spotted a HUGE cricket! It scared the crap out of me. Karli heard me trying to capture it. I used a cup to trap it then sent Karli to get one of her coloring books. Then we walked to the toilet to flush it. It was pretty hilarious! Karli was happy to help.

Monday, September 6, 2010. Our little family had a wonderful Labor Day. We were able to sleep in. Karli actually slept in til 9! Then we had a picnic with the Erdman Family at Mt. Charleston. We got our pumpkins the Monday before, but Buddah just HAD to carve pumpkins right then.so we did. Don't mind my lumberjack pajamas. Buddah carved an elaborate cat. And I did not. It was an "NDC" reunion, (NDC meaning "No Drama Club", we formed it when we graduated high school, cause we were soooo mature). Good times. And Buddah was in his best friend Brians. It always amuses me to see one of our local car parks during/after a rain “session”, the drain designed quite cleverly to take the water away from the car park is higher than part of the car park.
