Here are some updates to be aware of:. NO SCHOOL on Friday, October 14 or Monday, October 17. Teachers will be participating in PD at the Creston High School on Friday, and with the Diocese in Des Moines on Monday. Students are working so hard in class! The 6th Grade Parent Reception after Mass has been rescheduled for April 12.

The first few days of sixth grade in my classroom is spent getting students familiar with their laptops, since they are an integral part of their days at school. Unfortunately, we had some technology issues, and that has slowed us down a little bit! But we are back on track, and sixth graders are learning a lot about logins, emails, Google Docs, Google Classroom, and more! If your student is feeling overwhelmed, I'm not surprised! Change is in the Air!

Pictures and Other Things. Seventh Grade Math students are starting to work with Expressions, Equations, and Inequalities. This is one of my favorite units! We have many activiities to learn these skills in fun ways! In religion, we are getting ready to learn the Theological Virtues (faith, hope, charity) and the Cardinal or Moral Virtues (temperance, prudence, justice, fortitude).
