With the friends of sudley estate. Sandstone walls with ivy. The kitchen garden’s sandstone walls are unusual. Most Victorian garden walls are built of brick. They host a very fine crop of ivy which, if left to itself, will pull them down. The ivy’s demolition job is going very well at the moment. As time goes by it will become increasingly difficult to get the ivy down without bringing the wall with it. April 4, 2012 at 8:34 pm. The activities of the friends of Sudley look very good. What do you think?
