Field Trips enhance understanding and deepen learning. Beginning at the end of September, first graders enjoy monthly, Tuesday or Thursday afternoon, walking trips to the Goss Reading Room. This trip allows students to notice seasonal changes, become familiar with their community, get exercise and enjoy story time before choosing their own books. Parent volunteers are needed for these trips. In late May or early June, we will visit the tide pools at North Hampton.

About Mrs. Gamlin. I joined Elm Street School in 1999. I have taught kindergarten, first, second and third grade. This will be my 8th year in grade 1. In 2005 I earned a MEd as a reading/writing specialist with a K-12 certification. A Happy Place to Be. Sunday, October 20, 2013. It took us THREE WHOLE MONTHS to earn our class reward of a PJ day! Nothing is better than coming to school in snuggly clothes, and comfy slippers, and bonding over a wonderful book.
