On the corner of warm and toasty: Nothing Whatever
http://challyjames.blogspot.com/2009/08/so-my-life-is-officially-in-limbo-and.html
On the corner of warm and toasty. Monday, August 31, 2009. So my life is officially in limbo and will be for the next couple of weeks, which is not necessarily a bad thing especially considering I am being paid to be in limbo; however it leaves me with an inordinate amount of free time. Initially I was excited by the prospect of unlimited free time until I discovered there are a limited amount of things to fill your day with especially when everyone you know is either working, or gone. I hope you enjoy it.

On the corner of warm and toasty: April 2008
http://challyjames.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
On the corner of warm and toasty. Thursday, April 17, 2008. This is what I do to relax during the week and weekends. 511 (I later finished this route). Monday, April 14, 2008. A Rant of Insignificance. Here's an example of what I'm referring to: "If you crossed Moby Dick and the Wizard of Oz with Paul Auster and Haruki Murakami you might get something like Hall's debut.". There are a limited number of things you should cross:. Horse and donkey = mule. Bull Dog and Shitzu = mut. Things you don't cross.

On the corner of warm and toasty. Wednesday, January 2, 2008. Chally Christmas Part 2. As they smoked it began to snow. 8220;I’ve got it! 8221; said Mike. 8220;Snow is full of holiday cheer.” He ran out into the snow and started catching snowflakes on his tongue. Everyone joined him. 8220;If you catch them higher in the air you get more holiday cheer” said Ali. Everyone began jumping in the air as high as they could. Dad didn’t get very much holiday cheer). 8220;I feel much better.” Said James. It was th...

On the corner of warm and toasty: August 2008
http://challyjames.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
On the corner of warm and toasty. Saturday, August 2, 2008. In the afternoon me and my friend Ben jumped into his Toyota Corolla with a change of clothes some climbing gear and several bags of delicious beef jerky. After two weeks of miserably hot weather I had decided if I had to spend one more day in Raleigh I was going to forsake clothing altogether in protest. Fortunately for all of us it didn’t have to come to that. Ben drove recklessly and several times I feared for my life. We went back to. There ...

Some Recent Ramblings: Florence, Italy
http://thoughtsfromjoe.blogspot.com/2007/10/florence-italy.html
Don't be guilty of "Read and Run" - Comment me and let me know what you think! Sunday, October 7, 2007. At about 4 am, I awoke to the smell of cigarettes and Italian men chatting, not the sort of 4 am whispering that one might expect, but rather full intense dialogue…what about I don’t know…but whatever their minds had conjured up on that July morning at 4 am, judging from their gut-busting laughter, it was apparently quite funny . It’s quite possibly the best $4 you’ll spend. At 8 pm and eased into.

Nadine in Mexico DF: November 2008
http://nadinemexico.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Dienstag, 4. November 2008.

Some Recent Ramblings: Reflections on Joshua Tree
http://thoughtsfromjoe.blogspot.com/2008/04/reflections-on-joshua-tree.html
Don't be guilty of "Read and Run" - Comment me and let me know what you think! Tuesday, April 8, 2008. Reflections on Joshua Tree. Take for example the Joshua Tree – a labyrinth of limbs and outgrowths that follow no particular order. Every square inch of the tree is covered in pricks and points will make the toughest bloque scream. I think I’d rather take a bath in hydrochloric acid (HCL – thanks Mr. Bill) than tumble down. James and I got up on a brisk December morning and headed out for the 2 ½ h...
