Math students have an ALEKS account with a unique user name and password. Students should work on individualized math topics each week, and are required to complete a specified amount of time AND mastery of a specific number of topics. See the Weekly Assignment List to find out the number of minutes and topics assigned in your class. The ALEKS work week goes from Saturday until the next Friday. Dr Johnny Tee clark, jr elementary. This week, we started a new unit in both Science and Social Studies. In Social Studies, we are now looking into the Industrial Revolution, a period in the 18th century characterized by a major transition in the way we manufactured items. In Science, we are studying ecosystems and food chains. For my homeroom, tutorials for science have started on Friday afternoons during art in an effort to be STAAR ready! Good luck in STAAR season!
