About Mrs. Kubit. About Mrs. Kubit. Hello Second Graders :). My name is Heather Kubit. My family and I live in Skokie. I have been teaching for 21 years! Most of my teaching experience has been here at Henking School. I have taught first and second grade. I'm very excited for a great school year! Alex started high school and football this August. Luke will be a big 8th grader and soccer player:). We have two cats at home. Sugar Cookie and Jack get themselves in lots of curious situations.
