The kids love using them and it is such a quick way of getting a good feel for how much of my class understands my lessons. Keeping up with the Kindergarteners! Tuesday, 1 December 2015. First week of Advent. With Advent starting last Sunday, we have also been discussing with the children what Advent is, what it means and why we celebrate it. We talked about how Advent is a time to wait.for the birth of Jesus.
