I really think the chicks are adorable - they're stamped in walnut stain distress ink and just a damp brush used to pull the colour out. I used Sheena's Curly Swirly embossing folder on the mat and that interesting Hessian? I nicked a (new) leaf compost sack from the garden shed ( shh! Don't tell the best beloved ;-). Fiona's adventures in craft-land! Wednesday, 4 June 2014. Just 2 more sleeps! Sheena shows on Create and Craft this Friday. Today I thought I'd share this little box, made with the new King for a Day stamps from Sheena Douglass that launch on Friday at 11 am on Create and Craft. The little papier-mache box was painted with a single coat of Pebeo black gesso and daubed with some Luminarte Silks using a sponge. The swirl is from Sheena's Flying Colours collection. Fiona's adventures in craft-land! Wednesday, 16 April 2014. A host of golden daffodils. I thought I'd share this little make - a daffodil card with one of Sheena's taste of India embossing folders in the background. A restrained little number but this was a card for a person rather than a sample and designed to match the recipient's personal taste.
