Mrs Piercy's Fourth Grade. Monday, February 16, 2015. We just finished reading a selection in our reading book that is an excerpt from The Borrowers. A fantasy novel by English author Mary Norton. The story features a family of tiny people who live secretly in the walls and floors of an English house and "borrow" from the big people in order to survive. Mrs Piercy's Fourth Grade. Sunday, March 16, 2014. Third Quarter in Review. Students began writing their research reports on endangered species. In math, long division and two place multiplication were introduced. Everyone took part in the American Legion Essay Contest and wrote essays about how they could show their pride in being an American. Valentine's Day and Nebraska's 147th birthday were celebrated.
