You can help Rusty Rat catch the falling adverbs and adjectives. Remember, adverbs describe verbs and adjectives describe nouns. You can also review common and proper nouns with Rusty Rat, or review distinguishing between nouns and verbs. Next up is a game from Maggie's Earth Adventure called Clean Up Your Grammar!

Mrs Perry's Literature Circle Blog: The BFG. Friday, February 9, 2007. How Long is a Stride? On page 19, the stide of the Giant is said to be "as long as a tennis court." What is a "stride"? According to the World Book, 1991, the length of the tennis court is 78 feet. How many yards is that? Then, with a partner, use a yardstick to measure your own stride.
